CGX is the play!

FEC has very little interest....heck the only poster on there board is Frank, lol....FEC has other boat anchors/interests weighing them down....KCAC1 has 1 thing right, CGX will fly! Sell FEC, buy CGX, lol that's for Frank..... OilRun said it best...."In my opinion, CGX will eventually be valued higher then Frontera. CGX's offshore assets represents the crown jewel of Frontera's future valuation. The asset base Frontera has in Colombia require consistent intervention, stimulation and work over - just to sustain production. These assets are capital intensive and are usually characterized as having a breakeven around $55/bbl. It will take years for Frontera to get Colombia production back to levels to where they once were. Recall, production is down roughly 40% pre Covid. CGX is the play!!

Frontera's primary path forward will be to bring in a third party to help fund future exploration, appraisal and development activity across both blocks.  In yesterday's conference call, it was clear Frontera/CGX are in discussions with various third parties. Details were shared that some third parties did not want the deepwater port included in a potential deal. Others parties ...more

Thank you OilRun.good analysis as always........u stated, "Perhaps some of these minority shareholders could be influential Guyanese citizens.".....this has ALWAYS been my contention as to why this company has survived EVERY hurdle over the years. Hurdles that would have killed 99% of other companies our size. I will take it a step further. Some of these "influential citizens" ...more

You have hit it all on the nose oil_run.They have to make a deal it's in the cards for us.I figure the deal is a little less then the Apache deal but will be great none the less.fec and oyl are still very cheap considering what's to come .
