Type A

A couple of type As going at it. No big deal until one hits the ice. I once knew a land rig owner, drilling on a footage K, throw a driller off the rig floor for not putting more weight on the bit (And fired him on the way down). Listen it's clear we need to increase the mud weight on the pressure building up on the board. Lets try and keep the pressure in the formation and get back some positive juju. SportyJ

Back in the 1970s when footage drilling was a thing. Stopped when oil companies realized that they were getting f'ed up wells. Started out roughnecking in 1978 on such wells in Alberta. 1000 feet per 12 hour tour minimum.Yeah quit the bs that you got no cojones if you sell. People got families. This sp is not helping things. They got a good well or not? These guys need a good rally if they do.

Heck even back in 2004 when oil prices were $25 per barrel over 700 rigs drilling in Csnada. Now with oil prices over $75 per barrel only 179 drilling. Western Canadian basin all drilled out. Only thing left is Arctic, oil sands and shale plays like Montney in Grand Prairie. Oh and deep ...more
