Given that Wei-1 won't spud until likely late summer or early fall, I am doubtful any news is released in the meantime. On a plus, least we will get a news update come early August from CGX and Frontera... upon which I am sure they will say CGX is still exploring "strategic alternatives" to finance their operations. 

Then again, if the rumors are true and CGX is still looking for a new CFO (based on posts yesterday), then securing a JV deal becomes quite difficult... especially if Frontera instered their own new CFO only last week. 

As Joe Pesci classically once said in Casino... "This guy could fu*k up a pot of coffee"... I think this same statment could be applied to De Alba and Suresh!

yah and with the money i`m making in  SOU and  NEV i will be piling into CGX  in a month or so at  a buckish,    man if the marcket wasn`t so lousy  thouse 2 would be really taking off.

Or one could read it as a good thing.  You dont go pay $500k to a CFO if you are shutting the doors.  In the meantime, they can outsource the financial work to consultants proficient in this type of work.  I think it is a good thing.
