So u think that oyl will raise cash via unitization of the kind that Oil_Run referred to? Unitization is defined as "The process whereby an oil or gas reservoir straddling multiple licence areas is jointly developed by the holders of each licence."
Is that why there's no JV yet? Everybody is waiting on Wei results and the results of the Repsol well in Kanuku? Could it all be one humungous stratiographic trap extending into Exxon's license area? Somebody on here has got to know something but aren't saying much.
There has been many references to a western channel complex. What are we talking about? A Grand Canyon like ancient river gorge formed by the Berbice River that used to drain most of northern South America, now filled with sediment and covered with more sediment with the ocean on top.? The river gorge sloped from the land down to what was sea level at that time. So Kawa is down slope or down dip from Wei but they found the old river gorge? Which is why they're going updip to Wei to get into the hydrocarbons which, because they're less dense than water would collect in the upper portions of the trap?
A couple of people have sent me messages and I have replied saying that I am no earth scientist nor a financial guy but have implored, on this board, for some experts in earth science to explain what we have there. Now we have unitization talk. Why? And what's it mean with regards to how Wei will be financed?
