Share price volatility is expected and also irrelevant - Wei well result is the only relevant catalyst for material value creation near term.



Hope everyone has their chairs...  Make those pay a premium who remain cautious and stay close to the sidelines.

Thanks Oil_Run, The man in the sand. Arena is Spanish for sand. Yeah who knows what will happen. Their presentation says that they'll TD the well with 12 1/4" hole. Starting with larger hole sizes gives them more options to get to target depth by running continguency casing strings or liners if they run into problems. So it's still a wildcat well. Fishy, interesting you say that. Hammerhead had a lot of oil in the tertiary and, if I remember right, it goes into the Orinduik block. Joe and Jethro hit heavy, sour oil in the tertiary. I read up on it at the time. Usually caused by aerobic bacteria decomposing the lighter ends of the oil leaving heavy, sour crude behind. Schlumberger has a really good presentation of how they and Chevron built geological models for Chevron's Jack well in the GOM.
