Tullow would never have sold their interest in orenduik block if it was so promising ...lol ...they are building a pipeline in eastern Kenya to get some heavy oil from that discovery ....that has been stranded there for 20 years ......the..only block worth any thing is this Corentyne block .....will take a few years to first oil but ....it will be the only area to be developed !

Tlw had changed its business model due to Chalenging financial situation and droped most of its exploration assets including pel90 in namibia 3 weeks before the venus discovery! One of the few assets they didnt drop was orinduik.  Their deal with eco provides them future income if a discovery is made and production achieved so thats the rational.. For better or worse, Frontera needs CGX to do well going forward otherwise their WI in Corentyne becomes even more worthless.  These idiots had both CGX and Frontera at significantly higher market caps for much of the past 2 yrs and never once did anything constructive with this. They could have raised extra cash and kept both companies in much stronger position. Instead it was just a

For what it worth, i do believe that there is a good potential for a mastrichian developement if another big discovery is made. The next mastrichian prospects had been derisked. Fec learned the hard way that the deeper layers are un economical, and no company wants a six months wells, the mastrichian is faster and cheaper but requires another good hit. Thats not what majors are after these days
