Partners Real Estate Investment Trust (Partners REIT), formerly Charter Real Estate Investment Trust, is an open-end real estate investment trust. It focuses on managing a portfolio of retail and mixed-use community and neighbourhood shopping centres located in both primary and secondary markets across Canada. In December 2013, Partners Real Estate Investment Trust announced the closing of the proposed acquisition by McCowan and Associates Ltd of the rights and duties of League Asset Corp. and certain related entities under the REIT's existing management agreement. In April 2014, the Company acquired three retail centers. |

For the nine months ended 30 September 2014, Partners Real Estate Investment Trust revenues increased 7% to C$44.9M. Net loss totaled C$24.1M vs. income of C$13.4M. Revenues reflect an increase in demand for the Company's products and services due to favorable market conditions. Net loss reflects Fair value gains (losses) decrease from C$4.9M (income) to C$24.1M (expense), Other transaction costs increase from C$1.9M to C$8.6M (expense). |
