Business Overview
Partners Real Estate Investment Trust (Partners REIT), formerly Charter Real Estate Investment Trust, is an open-end real estate investment trust. It focuses on managing a portfolio of retail and mixed-use community and neighbourhood shopping centres located in both primary and secondary markets across Canada. In December 2013, Partners Real Estate Investment Trust announced the closing of the proposed acquisition by McCowan and Associates Ltd of the rights and duties of League Asset Corp. and certain related entities under the REIT's existing management agreement. In April 2014, the Company acquired three retail centers.
