YC has probably scarred out dozens of retail guys.
His rhetoric is complete nonsense. Look at the MD&A report it shows that the NOI is $35.4 Million, total properties carrying value is $531MM, this amounts to a unlevered cap rate of 6.7%, which means that some assets have a lower rate and others a higher rater. This to me is a very conservative rate (6.7%) and it tells me that asset write downs are a thing of the past.
