Missed the Oct 15th date.

It looks like I stand corrected. October 15th was the date ..... Nothing this morning which is surprising and odd. The information was reliable.....

Maybe the announcement is coming after markets close? I'm not liking the silence. For speculative purposes, I'm wondering what happens if PHA can't come up with the cash? The agreement was binding so I would expect lawsuits to follow unless there was some amicable agreement from both parties to call off the deal. The situation for PHA could deteriorate quickly if the deal doesn't

Perhaps just dotting the i's and crossing the t's on their news release after market close perhaps? Taking into account it is the start of the week. I guess we shall see!

The company has a responsibility to inform the shareholders with a news release which it has not, neither does it repond to any email. This is not a investor friendly company. Because of this investors will move on and the share price will lanquish even with a deal.

Agreed! Although solutions would be a good buy, I think manangement has squandered any faith in their ability to execute. still not sure the deal is getting done.. I suspect they have to offer sweeteners now to keep solutions around

Earning should be out in the next 2 weeks. Should move the stock higher. Next year with the Solution Staffing integration this stock will be over a buck. This is my opinion. I keep buying based on my confidence for good earning next year. Anyone on this board does not share my opinion. I would like to know why.

Bigmac, from wherever your info came from, did you receive any indication for why the speculated Oct. 15th date didn't come to fruition?

I didn't ask, I've been tempted but didn't want to push my luck. It was reliable information. I knew September 30 was not going to happen but don't understand why the October 15 date was suggested and missed.

One would imagine that either way there should be a news release soon - either the closing is imminent or there should be an update about it.

They will have to address this soon then later. I suspect they are trying everything to hang onto the deal.. but who knows. It has to be embarrassing to not be able to close this.. and this is beyond frustrating waiting

If they can't get all the financing via bank debt, surely they could do a PP in worst case scenario?

100% agreed! This is a good deal even if they issue 12-15 million shares at 30-35 cents. (Much better if they don't have to dilute but don't lose the deal)

I think they'll eventually close the deal, but not without some reputational damage. Might make the next acquisition target a bit hesitant.

Looks like someone thinks the sky is falling - selling at 22% loss in a single day?

I'm pretty confident this won't be the last such dump. The longer this drags out, the more people will think the deal is dead and bail. I won't be surprised if we return to the all time lows if the silence persists. It's definitely a heightened risk holding at this point, to the downside.

Given the options of (1) wait for actual news to come out to make an investing decision or (2) speculate and dump at a single day loss of 22%, I'm taking option 1 - but of course each has their own reasons for selling. Time for the company to provide an update!

From the MD&A, "PHA plans to finance the acquisition through a global refinancing with a group of lenders." This is probably a fairly involved process if they are refinancing their entire existing bank debt, which might explain the length of time taken. Hopefully we hear more news soon.

True! Not an easy task especially in a changing rate environment.. hope they don't miss this deal. Seems to be still in the works. (Nothing to the contrary has been released)
