Paul Van Eeden, PLE, CPQAnyone else remember about the middle of 2006, a few months before Plexmar went over a dollar, when someone from this bullboard called into RobTV's evening show to ask about Plexmar when Paul Van Eeden a guest?
I remember watching the show on replay. The caller did clearly say "Plexmar", but for some reason Paul Van Eeden thought he heard "Canplats" and proceeded to discuss (pump) that stock instead. PLE extremists on these bullboards were very angry and sent Paul e-mails about the situation. Some were certain that it was a conspiracy theory and that Paul was actually quietly and heavily accumulating PLE because of the recent ARU discovery. Paul denied ever owning shares of Plexmar.
Ironically, both were trading in the $0.30's when "Van Eeden-Gate" took place.
