RE:Legislation for Regulation Thanks for the info regarding the public hearing comments. When I originally saw that article, I was pretty concerned about a number of quotes and characterizations. It seems like MN certainly wants to be on the aggressive side of royalties (as long as they are the VERY highest apparently...), which I don't really like. I am also worried by the idea of the MN DNR being the gatekeeper for necessary permits for production. I know people first hand who have had their businesses crushed by uninformed (politically motivated/overly environmentally protective) actions by the MN specifically. They unfortunately have a demonstrated history for strongly lacking concern for the actual impact of their decisions on related business activities. Let's hope for the best - I like our CEOs strategy of trying to be publicly supportive and collaborative with regulatory efforts. Honestly, it is the only way here.
