RE:RE:Febuary 25th or 74 days ago I agree, and imagine following scenario:
Precipitate starts drilling and one or both holes show good sulfide mineralization. Most likely the second hole was the first or even the better one ! There might have even been visible gold in the core which is often the case in the oxydation zone .The drilling crew is leaking to the people around and as a result people starting protesting with the purpose of getting some money or other concession from Precipitate! Kind of black mailing!
I do not know the mining law of the DR and therefore do not know if the owners of the land have rights to the mineral underneath!? Most likely not!
Somebody mentioned that PRG is negotiating with the community!? IMHO it really ought not to
be so difficult to negotiate an option agreement with the land owners and to let them have a few bredcrumbs of any potential riches underneath! Actually it would only be fair enough!
Precipitate is not a good negotiator! The Barrick deal is an example for that weakness!
