Decline Rates

Decline RatesI have asked company for specific points of reference but maybe will get nothing back. Although not directly comparable I went back to petrominerales early experience in their Corcel block where they had declines ranging about 20% in first month and then 50% average decline over 6 months, yet some individual wells had declines of about 25% in a 6 month period. These were water reservoir driven wells with increasing water cuts. Lately they have experienced 13% declines in Deep LLanos and probably similar declines in other areas of Basin but augmented by drilling successes. It is always a case of keeping ahead of the decline curve but what is a too risky decline rate in a prolific permit area?.
