PTC Shares for US Citizens

PTC Shares for US CitizensI always thought that the shares placed in my account would automatically be available for sale upon PTC getting their TSX listing. I'm trying to remember what Sister Mary Ruth said about assuming........ Went to sell them the other day, couldn't. My broker got back to me today, PTC is mailing the stock certificates to my US mailing address. He stated that the shares in my account marked restricted were in a prior company. While this technically doesn't make any sense, I'm not a lawyer. The CUSIP #'s don't match, which is ultimately the problem--what is in my account can't be sold because it isn't the same CUSIP number as the PTC shares being traded.
