Believe that OPL has an offer nearingIMO, I believe that it is likely the OPL has an offer or indications of an offer to come that needs to be negotiated. The NR indicated that the Board had made all resolutions necessary to approve the sale of POET as of 28 Feb. Then they release the POET valuation at $1B.
Due diligence would suggest that they have/had been approached, submitted POET for valuation, now have an indication of the value and can deal/negotiate POET in whatever sale method they choose. Also have insiders buying.
So I would believe that OPL is in the process of serious negotations of numerous options concerning POET. The options in the conf call the CEO went through them. I conclude that one of those options will occur sooner than later.
Adoption of the technology is a given for it is technological the correct solution to combine multiple requirements onto one chip, and saves tech companies money, so I am very confident of its adoption.
My confidence is high, and given insider buying, their is too, there is no better indication then where insiders place their own money, imo.
