RE: RE: Lee Shepherd Yeah I saw that and did a bit more reading - Neterion was aquired for 10-11 million. Considering he was trying to build (or maybe he had built, not clear on the research yet if they had a product in market) 10 gig backplane switches for virtualized environments. Considering they were going up against the likes of Qlogic and Brocade (I've always used Brocade for my implementations in the past, hadn't heard of neterion), and they only sold for 10-11 million; I'm guessing they weren't very far along the line of product development.
Again just seemed small potatoes than what I was hoping for, but at least he DOES have some experience in the market for high speed data transmission via laser -- there's certainly some synnergy there. Time will tell, but to me it's been a series of fluff and no substance news releases. I hope they get their game sorted out soon so that we can sustain our share price and get me the heck out of this hole I'm in with this stock.
