It may involve foreign buyers, which explains the delay, They must be stingy, since they've insisted on a long trading halt to shut out speculators, On the other hand, the current management knows  that tech-heavy but market-challenged companies like PTK either go bankrupt or get sold at fire sale prices -- so they would want to sell sooner rather than later. I think either there will be no deal or it would only be a small premium to the market, probably $2 or so. 

I wouldn't dream of a knight in shining armor like FB or GOOG fallin ing love with PTK. They don't even have a product yet! They'll want to watch and wait for management to stumble and make poor decisions under stress that bring the company to Chapter 11.. and THEN buy. Why would you pay $10 a share for potential when you can buy the reality for pennies?
