Right.

So, lets get the legacy 100 and up going.
Forget about making 1.6, which will be to slow or expensive in a couple of years anyways.
Just focus on something that works. Why is the 100 too expensive? Fix it, then move up with the next iterations. Finally show the market proof of concept.
Learning lessons from getting the 100 iteration going should help later iterations. Stop living in the future. Get er done NOW!!!!
