Not according to FJ. His grapevine is saying it will close today. https://agoracom.com/ir/POETTechnologies/forums/discussion/topics/795664-expectation-of-financing-closing/messages/2397688#message

Same as Slabs grapevine yesterday. Well, if it is not in a company NR it did not happen as far as me concerned. Poet can update the shareholders if they WANT to stop the slide. It is not a priority however, seemingly.

Sure looks like a $1.50 CDN ($1.10 USD) financing to me.

There should be no discount to the market price after the price crash. If so, reduce the commission of the damn underwriter for taking no risk.

Unfortunately fantasy land needs to get the story straight! Is it margin calls, shorting, tax loss selling or smart money exiting at any cost since poet is insolvent? Setting a finance price above market (say $3 ROFL!) will answer things pretty quickly. My guess is shorting will get ruled out and ZERO interest in the financing. Lol

No holding period in Canada is not very promising for the share price after the financing. Normally they get to hold for a number of months. Better be really good news after the closing.

there will Constant selling pressure with millions of shares from the offering.(that is if they can fiil)...I imagine that many wont be holding for long ..sell the shares at a any point for profit and hang onto the warrants. No brainer,if you still have a sliver of confidence left, with existing management at the helm...

What if it turns out to be the financing that doesn't close? At 6% interest rates, the pimpers are playing a game of chicken betting on that same pony trick. IMO poet has been going towards insolvency since 2008. Lots of pimpers with their finger on the sell button hoping for that 2016 bounce right now. lol

If you anyone else is taking requests from fantasy land, do a other chart with all the your pooet purchases and swap it with any of the FANG or Tesla stock. Rofl
