This company's explanation of their products seems to state with such conviction and confidence that their products will be so desired in the very near future. Is their any truth to this or is it all an exaggeration to keep shareholders from selling? It would be so wonderful to talk to the companies that could use their products to ask them if they are thinking of purchasing Poet's new chips.  Poet claims they have CUSTOMERS who build  next generation products for Telecoms , Internet of Things, Automotive, and Wearables.  So who are these customers? Can we find out and we phone them and ask them "are you eager to buy Poet's new optical chips/engines? And if not why not? What is honestly the truth? It seems to me that their must be a competitive ALTERNATIVE to POET'S products that are making customers reluctant to buy POET'S products

What we KNOW is that Poet announced their products are or would be "ready for production" by 2022 Q3-4. They also announced that the factory to make the gadgets is getting set up in the 1st half of 2024. In 2022 Poet did not make it clear OK products are ready but we don't have any way of making em. They allow the ambiguity to allow the shareholders to fantasize all kinds of stuff.

They have never produced material revenue and have burned through almost $200million (retained earnings).  The questions is why would we think they will every produce revenue. Looks like whatever product they are making is not wanted in the market

Guud luck with that.any time one asks that question they Plead that they are party to NDA's. To quote Mr MIka a few years back at an AGM meeting,they "we are party to hundreds of NDA's" Everybody including the Janitor and the maintenance guy must party to an NDA.Never know,EH?
