But absent drill results, I doubt any sane PTT share holder would go for such a deal absent a really stunning premium. What PXT share holder would be happy to pay a premium for PTT absent something to justify such a deal? I doubt any would. As such, a take out now seems very unlikely - PTT is able to fund their commitments, generates profits, and has a bit of cash - thus few incentives that would drive a deal before potential company making news is released.
