Why the Excitement for Cesium?

Why the Excitement for Cesium?

I'm probably coming across as a little overly bullish with my fixation on the Cesium play here, but it really is what has the opportunity to make this stock shine. This is due to the role Cesium plays in time keeping, and the role timekeeping plays in 5g telecommunications, which hints towards a much wider application for the material.

We really are at the VERY beginning of a new era of telecommunications. Currently our technology coordinates with towers and gps satellites to determine the time- this takes around a second. This isn't just cellphones, but largescale enterprise operations like air traffic control. Time is insanely important because its what regulates all sorts of processes and operations.

The problem with this in a 5g environment is that there are so many signals coming and going, that a one second delay can suddenly throw a massive spanner into the mix when we're dealing with these speeds and number of connections. Any delay between that communication, or worse, intentional blockage or spoofing, results in some serious serious issues because of a time de-sync.

This is where Cesium comes into play, since a Cesium clock can run for months without that satellite connection, and this technology is literally cutting edge. In 2005 it was only speculation as to whether this could even be done, and the viable products are coming out now in 2023, with annoucements being made as recently as last month.
