No News Since June

Responding to some of the wider discourse surrounding the lack of news since the most recent survey results on June 8, as well as speaking to the results, with sources cited, and why therecent results could lead to some tasty things! It's a long one, so grab a coffee and here we go!

I've mentioned it a couple of times already, but I don't think folks realize just how big the Cochrane 7 Fire, COC007, really was. At its widest extent in Mid-June, it was over 37 000 hectares, or about 377 km2. To put it into perspective, the entire Island of Malta is about 317km2.

Power Metal Corps property wasn't at risk given the prevailing East-Northeast wind direction in the region, and the Eastward direction the fire was moving; but, given that magnitude you don't mess around. If the drill program had been scheduled for early or mid-summer it certainly would've be much more impactful to their operations. That's why however in an earlier post I stated an early start to the drill program was categorically out of the question. You give a monster like that respect and a very wide berth, late summer is late summer.

Moving on to what they've been doing in the interim, and why the survey results are so exciting!

If you look at PWM's July 18 2018 NI 43-101 Technical Report, available on SEDAR, you can see on page 57 an early Residual Magnetic Intensity map of the wider region.

Jussst barely visible to the left of the main pegmatite swarms you can see a yellow dome feature which helps us situate ourselves in the more focused 2023 results. If you put these maps side by side you can really see why this thing popped with this release. In the 2018 map, it was extremely difficult to see the extent of the upthrusts that might hold the good stuff; but, in the 2023 map you can see that the pegmatite swarms correspond almost perfectly with the branching structures now visible in 2023. Sliding our gaze over to West Joe on the 2023 map, those thick branches to the East and their potential implications suddenly become extremely tantalizing (tantalum pun intended, although we're all here for for Cs-Li).

I strongly recommend checking this out for yourself! Use the windows snipping tool or however you like and just put the two side by side. Chart the identified swarms and then look at how they correspond to the much larger structures identified in June 2023. This is what PWM is up to, you'll noticed they mentioned  they're compiling with historic data, and precisely identifying prospective drill targets! They're drilling 15 000 meters which will be huge; 15 000m is almost the entirety of the drilling done on site to-date.

For a closer look at the swarms to help correlate them with the 2023 map I would also recommend viewing the map on page 45 of the NI 43-101 report showing a closeup of the swarms!

If you made it this far down, that's it that's all! I hope you have a great day, take care of yourself <3

* The NI 41-101 referenced was from July 14, 2017 my mistake! "NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT CASE LAKE PROPERTY" Cochrane, Northeastern Ontario, Canada POWER METALS CORP. Suite 545 – 999 Canada Place Vancouver, British Columbia, V6C 3E1 Canada Date: July 14, 2017

Too bad the fire didn't hit their property. Likely would have exposed new outcrop.

Great post , 1 or 2 days after they released the results [ June 8 th ] of the surveys , this started to pick up on volume and share price , obviously  this was no coincidence . GL

Thankyou for this post Nafet10. I took your advice this morning and compared the two mag surveys side by side. If and I say if these up thrusting swarms are mineralized at the Main and at West Joe this resource could be much larger than any of us would even dare to suggest as a possibility. It appears that the branches are much thicker than what we have already drilled to date. With this thought ...more

Great post , this is why after the surveys were released June 8th,  the large accumulation of shares have been taken place , this is just my opinion ( observation )
