RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What a big player can do Whenever I read your posts of late, Magus, I get your level of frustration. I damn well do get it! Regardless, let's joust shall we.
Of course should there be no changes made at QNC there will be a forced sell to whomever. My points (per previous posts) are that change appears to be in the offing within. The first decent update PR. The Board members didn't flee when most convenient to do so; they would not have been out of pocket fleeing - we all know that very sad fact. Good Chairman appointment in my view.
I find a couple of your positions "interesting". Perhaps you could explain further:
Firstly - How do you know that QNC doesn't have the manpower to advance? You think a Big Team is the answer here? Organizational layers of employees make some feel secure I suppose.
While I don't know about Rousseau either which way, Samson and Paquet have super pedigrees that anyone can readily substantiated. Presentation (Samson) and deal making (Paquet) covered off.
As far as talking tech with the brains at the top tier OEM's and telecoms are you feeling Gagnon and Reulet don't suffice? Kind of their area of expertise is my thought. We're not talking product communication with a mass market here and never will be (as far as I know).
A big organization isn't what's called for in QNC's particular circumstance is my thought here and that's a primary strength and beauty premise of this spec investment. Is to my eye anyway.
Secondly - you cast aspersions on Reulet and Miron.
I have never met Reulet, but assume by your comment that you have. So you know that Reulet "can't sell a banana to a starving monkey"? Has he even tried to do so? Details please. (lol) My point is that unless you know Reulet I don't think your "can't sell" comment to be fair game. Regardless, all Reulet (in concert with Gagnon) has to do is sell his invention to five or ten tech-heads. Those tech-heads have to in turn sell QNC's solution to their management or Board. Reulet did sell himself well enough to get a Canada Excellence Research Chair so its safe to say he has some communication skills. I'm very interested to hear where your insight on Reulet comes from, Magus.
Miron hasnt' been all bad, but is now "some bad" imo. He has guided the company through these years with a tight fiscal fist (too tight at times imo), but fiduciary duty is what its all about for a CFO. He's been accessible to most, but that has waned these past few months. Regardless, we are in an awkward place with finances. That is on him and secondly JCP/Board - not good, but in my view Pierre has been mostly good imo.
Be back when we have something to chat about. That will be soon as that PP has to come together within the next 60 days imo.
Magus22 wrote: I never said there won't be a pp, just the opposite I'm sure there will be one and the previous news release which upped the share price was a prelude to this. Expect a 10m share pp at 10c with a half 15c warrant attached and a 3 month holding period.
and unless they get some new magic ceo
and supporting staff we are defiantly being sold to a bigger fish. We don't have the man power to take this to the next level. Bertrand might have a great invention but he couldn't sell a banana to a starving monkey. And miron is more useless then the office water cooler, I think they keep him around to sign the financial reports The new guys I have no opinion about yet. But i can say for certain better then jcp. He literally did nothing.
