serious question..... what happened to the FLU, every year

theres a ton of public service announcements about getting your flu shot. we were constantly being told that between 150,000-200,000 people die every year in north america from the flu, what, did covid cure the flu or is it the $23,000 per day extra that the health system charges we the taxpayer for covid patients hospital stays got anything to do with the disapperance of the flu. i know that covid is real, but come on thats not the only illness killing people. i know this post is not stock related and ill catch a lot of hate but im hoping that theres an MD or medical expert that may give me an answer. sorry if i offended anyone, but it sure is odd.

LIMIT I am fully aware of the consequences of  sheepishly following the gov. propaganda, I see how they take this covid (pandemic) and social shaming, political correctness, limiting free speech etc. and using this as a ploy to remove our rights and freedoms. hey donkey if you had any understanding about  how manipulation of the publics opinion works you would see a corolation to QYOU. selling ads and the amount you can charge is based on viewership, listening audiance, readship etc. If your locked down and you only have media outlets, gaming sites, etc, etc. to turn to thats huge for them. Thats how companies like qyou make money by selling ads
