Medmen RTO Target?

This company has no debt and increasing cash... its interesting how they brought someone on the board with experience in mergers/acquisitions...

Ironically, received an email from Medmen confirming they are still going through with an RTO and not an IPO. Huge stuff here boys

any prediction on timeline MrCan?
Comment by Jasonthevet on Mar 21, 2018 3:51pm
MrCanadian do you think the RTO will be with Russel Breweries? And if so, why?
Comment by MrCanadian on Mar 21, 2018 3:54pm
they want to go public in Canada. using a shell like RB.H that has no debt is a cheaper way to go public than an IPO. Russell Breweries does not exist anymore, this is simply a shell company that has been confirmed to have been purchased for an RTO

and top that off with the huge amount of accumulation and the new wall straight out of GOT you have some serious possibilities at hand...

Do you have the news link it has been purchased for an RTO? Sorry I'm new here
Comment by MrCanadian on Mar 21, 2018 3:59pm
its an email from Hugh Notman himself. His email is online.

Hi MrCanadian in my own opinion I don't think MedMen will use RB as their target as RB is listed on the TSX-Nex. If you refer to their PR of January 24,2018 they are targeting a CSE company for the RTO. I do however think there's something huge going on for RB and we will hopefully be in for a good ride! JMO

I agree something is coming either Way. But yes a TSX can list on the CSE. Let me dig into how this process works a little more.

Great dd there MrCanadian i picked up 12,000 shares of this the other day traded my gti which is also a shell on the cse but has a lot bigger share count, but i think im goint to try and pickup a few more...worth the risk at 3 cents. Grossprfit Cheers!

I am wondering if they will also do a reverse split of 2 to 1 Or 3 to 1 with the RTO, or can they do that at the same time?

This is an update (copy and paste below) regarding timeline for switch to CSE. It is also dirt cheap for companies as big as Medmen (Forbes today released article saying they are valued at over a billion dollars) saves them a load of time compared to the IPO route  The total time to review and accept a new listing or a switch from the TSX or TSX-V? Three weeks or less. A company can use ...more
