No need to believe in unicorns

No need to believe in unicorns
You don't have to believe in unicorns because all that matters is putting in the effort.

For several months, you have surely noticed that I am very insistent about drilling. If I am so insistent, it is because all the potential of Robex, whatever it is, depends on the results of this drilling. Whether it is the sustainability of the financial results, the increase in production capacity or the increase in the overall value of Robex, everything depends on the results of these holes.

Fortunately for us, Robex is generating enough profit to fund it all. Unlike exploration companies which generally have to issue shares, Robex will use this approximately 20% of its profits to develop the knowledge and value of its permits. Due to the fact that so much importance is attached to drilling, this work is planned continuously rather than in the field, which makes it possible to sign long-term agreements, obtain the exclusivity of the services of its partners and finally, to prioritize and schedule the work in accordance with the analysis results obtained each week. The best word to sum it all up is: agility.

Exclusivity ensures the availability of its partners and ensures that what is planned is carried out without intermission. This mode of operation allows Robex to be extremely efficient while allowing its partners to be just as effective. For the partners, this operating mode simplifies the management of their business and the management of their human resources. The approach is therefore win-win, which makes it possible to reduce the costs of its partners and consequently, to reduce the cost of the agreements signed in favor of Robex. As already mentioned, Robex is not limited to being a low-cost gold producer but also a low-cost explorer.

When one realizes the immensity of the Nampala, Mininko and Kamasso permits, which total 167 square kilometers, it is much easier to understand the importance of effective planning. Efficiency makes it possible to reduce the cost of each meter drilled, to considerably increase the number of drillings carried out annually and finally, to adjust the schedule according to the results obtained each week. The combination of cost reduction / efficiency / adjustment, ultimately results in much more positive outcome.

The planning of 170,000 meters of drilling in 2020 is a very ambitious goal and it is now with 7 drills that this objective will be reached. Since the exploration is being carried out in several phases, it should be understood that other results will be obtained for the zones in phase 4 while some zones will be in phase 1, 2 and 3. The combination of the renewal of the budgets associated with the drilling every year and this phased development will mean that phase 4 results can be announced continuously, year after year.

It is easy to locate the mineralized zone which concerns the 3 permits mentioned above. This area is located in the south-east of Mali in what is called the "Birimian Belts", all in green and which spans several countries. As far as we are concerned, the mineralization of our 3 permits continues south as far as the Ivory Coast, which is very encouraging. As presented in the financial statements, Robex is able to generate very impressive profits despite the relatively low grade of the ore. Therefore, an area containing as little as 0.25 grams per tonne is considered profitable and can be included in the resource calculation. Such plant efficiency is what allows Robex to meet its need to increase the volume of mineral resources without being faced with the need to obtain grades as high as 2, 3, 4, ... grams per tonne.
