NETWORK TO COMMENCE CALDERA DRILLING; EXHIBITING AT TORONTO CONFERENCE
Network Exploration Ltd. is making an exploration update on its two properties in South America and invites investors to its booth at the Toronto Resource Investment Conference Oct. 21 and Oct. 22.
Caldera
The Caldera gold and copper project in northern Chile is now drill ready and the company is engaging a drilling contractor to begin phase I of its upcoming drill program. Having recently completed a comprehensive trenching and test-pit program, the company has successfully identified gold and copper targets for a deep drill program of approximately 250 metres per hole. Drill dates will be announced shortly.
Pistala
Network Exploration has approved the phase I exploration program at the company's Pistala copper project in southern Peru. Senior geologist Marco Fernandez-Concha will supervise a team to collect samples and record data to prepare a series of geological maps for a subsequent, comprehensive trench and test-pit program.
On Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, 2007, Network Exploration will be exhibiting at the 2007 Toronto Resource Investment Conference held by Cambridge House International at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, 222 Bremner Blvd., Toronto, Ont. Network to start phase I exploration at Pistala Dec. 4
2007-11-15 12:10 ET - News Release
Mr. Alexander Helmel reports
NETWORK TO COMMENCE PHASE I EXPLORATION AT PISTALA
Network Exploration Ltd.'s phase I exploration program at Pistala is scheduled to commence Dec. 4, 2007.
Phase I will consist of a series of detailed mapping, and soil and rock sampling designed to obtain a general understanding of the geological features at Pistala. Approximately 100 samples will be taken from the property from selected outcrops and anomalies targeted by senior geologist Marco Fernandez-Concha. Data from phase I will help define targets for subsequent trenching, test pit and drilling phases of exploration. The Pistala project is a 1,600-hectare copper prospect located east of the major northwest-southeast-trending Incapquio fault system in southern Peru. It inhabits the same metallogenic belt region as other world-class deposits, of which include the Cuajone, Cerro Verde/Santa Rosa and Topuepala mines. These mines are actively mining copper at grades ranging from 0.3 per cent to 0.74 per cent and lie within the same Cretaceous group of rocks as the Pistala property.
