A cut and paste

A cut and pasteDo remember that the data released is only mud logs. So you get “little bits” of rock and associated oil and gas that gets caught by the mud. Note talk of oil being seen on/ in the mud and on the screens (where the mud flows through at the surface so samples of rock can be collected and inspected) From the cuttings “bits of rock in the mud and on the screens” They’ll tell you what type of rock and imply some porosity (what holes there are for oil and water etc to be in) maybe permeability (how easily fluids can flow)……….but flow testing will be the key. As for the NR, they’ve released saying: oil, that’s moved into reservoir rock, and we might be able to get to flow due to gaps (fractures, bedding planes, through the actual rock)
My last bit would be to say that the cores etc will be commercially sensitive, for JV discussions etc. so you “pay to play”. Namibian Govt own these and it’s not something, if it was me, that I’d give away for free.
