It's an easy formula. 0.465xdepth ft=expected formation pressure than take mud wt. ppg x 0.052 x depth ft. Ex: 9.5ppg x 0.052 x 5379ft.=2657.2 psi .....0.465 x 5379 ft = 2501 psi 2657.2 - 2501.2 = 156 psi so it's basically where u want it slightly over balanced.
