Quebec has a surplus of hydro power it's currently trying to sell to Massachussets, if they can get the lines built. No shortages of green energy here. France is doubling down on nuclear power. And with better grid integrations, new battery systems, and higher efficiency turbines and solar cells, wind and solar will continue to make gains around the world.
But I'm still heavily invested in oil and gas. It's going to be death by a thousand cuts rather than a clean break, and there is still, as we can see, plenty of upside to o&g stocks in the short to mid term.

to increase hydropower, we must build some new rivers, and mountains for them to flow from.
nuclear is political kryptonite.
fossil fuels will be with us for a long time.
eventually, people will accept nuclear. ...but not soon. (cold fusion?)
