Energy crisis, climate and colonial history
Economics Minister Habeck is traveling to Namibia and South Africa for several days today. On site, the focus should be on energy supply and climate protection. But the Vice Chancellor also has to face up to German colonial history.

In July, the former state secretary was appointed special representative for German-Namibian climate and energy cooperation by Economics Minister Robert Habeck. Habeck and the Namibian Energy Minister Tom Alweendo signed the cooperation agreement in March. During the trip, which starts on Sunday, the talks will focus on the agreement and the question of how the cooperation between the two countries in the field of hydrogen economy can be expanded.
