I would rather see $3 for 20 days before drilling. Make the warrantholders put more skin in the game and finance Q1 drillling.

Letsmake1 - do not worry, I will pick you up and cover you up. As for $3 before drilling, from my previous experience with oil, I think we should hit that $5 before drilling so $3 should not be a problem. I think there are hundreds of investors just waiting to the rigs to settle and start drilling.

The company is scheduling the spud of the first well (6-2) in early December, 2020, but is aware additional logistical and supply chain delays presented by the COVID-19 virus may play a role in execution, although only measured in weeks. Lots of time for a upward price move.

Hey Tehran10 do you have some examples of past oil stocks that have done well like this? This is my first small cap oil stock, so while I'm excited about the prospect, I would like to be more educated on small caps taking off.

The traders are fighting to keep it under $1.20 but she keeps trying

Murphy, Marathon, Apache, Chesapeake, Niko, Crestwood, Noble, Vermillion, etc... Basically any oil company. They virtually all start out as penny stocks, acquire some land and find a producing field and the price shoots up. Recon is a bit different in that it has the basin and is trying to prove the basin. Once it does that then it will look for oil production, likely with partners. This could ...more

That's helpful, thanks!

How quickly do you think the stock price goes up to the $50 range. Is that once they finish the first few wells and confirm oil or is it typically more of a thing where a few years down the road once production is ramped up?
Comment by Elephants on Sep 11, 2020 12:06am
Depends on the results. The results, if good, will jump it at the opening bell. It will then go up more after more drilling, partnerships, actually finding oil, etc... but the biggest jump will be proof of concept then at commercial discoveries. Look at the companies I mentioned. See when a reserves report was issued for a well and how long it took for an increase. In oil, the jumps are fast and ...more

If you have the right combo, it is possible to hit it out of the park with oil and gas. I like the risk/reward profile of this one. That is why I bought shares. Of course, I realize that it is possible to lose it all as well. Such is the nature of oil and gas. To give you an idea, I bought a number of shares in a small O&G company that was exploring offshore in the Nile River Delta, called ...more
