anyone's thoughts on this? They are saying Recon doesn't have proper documentation and plans on hydraulic fracking with environmental concerns

A very similar process is playing out with Sintana (V.SEI) in Colombia.   Fracking is very polarizing and tends to draw the greenies in droves.  As a long term investor in Sintana, I can say be prepared for a lot of this and a lot of misleading information.  Don't pay much attention to editorials but look closely at official communications.  My decision to stick with ...more

RECO has issued PR that environment assessments and permits are up to date and Namibia has deemed them an essential services provider.  Appears this originated from a student in South Africa. Protesting happens in every country..  USA and Canada included Namibian Minister of Mines and Energy Tom Alweendo denied this week that there were problems with the consultation process.
