Not to mention the amount of time that it would take to core pilot holes, prior to reaming the holes open to run intermediate casing string(s)... that's a lot to ask of a carrier mounted kelly drive rig. And I don't know of any producer that would drill a monobore exploration well.
Looks like they are going to focus the logs and core data on the convential aspects of the reservoir. And I'm pretty sure Namibia does not have the same public core lab like they do in Alberta, so my guess is we're never gonna see the core data or W/L logs. It would be nice to see a stick and the core/logging programs - but that's never going to happen.
