RE:Question Re: Drilling

RE:Question Re: DrillingThe Crown 750 rig is carrier mounted, which means it is self rolling and has wheels attached (as opposed to requiring rig moving truck to essentially put it on a giant flatbed truck), and makes for a quick rig move. The time needed for the rig move is dependaant on the number of truck loads (mud tanks, water tanks, catwalk, pumps, auxillary power, well site shacks, etc.), and from the looks of the rig, it shouldn't be too many. How quickly those loads take in Africa is the quiestion. In Alberta, that move (number of loads and distance) would take a day, but if it took 3-4 days it wouldn't surprise me. Oonce moved MIRU (Mov-In RIg Up) should take 1-2 days on a rig like that on a single well location. Again, could be an extra day if the crews aren't overly familiar with the rig. All in all, I would think we're 4-6 days from spud of the second well. This is just my best guess.
