Possible Recaf suitors/partners

Possible Recaf suitors/partners

Being an exploration company, it is no secret that we are going to need a partner/s with deep pockets for development and much sooner than later.

I have been looking into potential ones. Now this all is not authoratative but just what I have come across.

First the usual suspects, already in Namibia - off shore:

Eco Atlantic (Canadien)
Shell
Tullow

Major ones in neighboring countries:
Total (French)
Vitol
The Chinese through various ops
and my favourite choice from next door :
in South Aftrica SSL ( disclaimer: I have holdings in this very going concern )

Now some dark horses, mainly Russian,:
Eurasia Drilling
Sibos
Novatek
Reason: decades ago the Russians and their proxcies the Cubans were very prominent in this area and especially next door in Angola

Probably not:
BP - even though they do operate in this area of Africa they have "environmentalists" on their board and they have been whittling down not only their exploration activities but development and production as well and concentrating on "renewables".

In deed they want to move BP from British Petroleum to "Beyond Petroleum" - a fatal mistake in my opinion.

Now there are many other companies operating in Namibia and the region but I don't see them as viable candidates.

If anyone has some candidates please feel free to jump in.
