Did I hear correctly in that that there is no license for unconventionals applied for or granted?

Indeed, that what that government official said. This kill any speculation or hope for unconventional reserves

Please read the RECO investor presentation: "25 year Production Licence FOLLOWS commercial discovery". So at first there has to be a 'commercial discovery'. Therefore the drillings in november/december are important as a condition. So let's roll RECO!

It does not kill it. This is normal progress. The license would not be applied for until after oil is found. It is in the exploring phase. The point is the government said everything is as it is suppose to be at this point and the writer of that tabloid article didn't fact check any of their bogus claims and doesn't know what they are talking about.
