Special Dividend

Special DividendHi Sam, I got my special dividend paid on Dec11th so ex-dividend date must have been much earlier than the 11th that your brokerage stated.  They were probably just as confused about the news release as everybody.  My account shows ex-dividend date was the 7th which means you would need to buy RFC on the latest, Dec. 3rd to give 3 days before possession.  This is kinda fishy it looks like a lot of sellers cashed out at $1.45 and still got the special dividend if they sold on or after Dec.4th.  Makes me wonder if management took advantage here and cashed out plus got the special dividend and some retail investors got a lump of coal.  Just my two cents.  Cheers Charlie.
