RE:RE:What’s going on……………BNG  Those republican and conservative stereotypes don't often hold up in practice. One of the toughest places to do biz in Canada is AB because it has the most bureaucracy - despite their claims of free markets during 93% conservative rule, the PC built a disfunctional dynasty of bureaucracy for 44 straight years which has yet to be reduced in a meaningful way.
Texas? They are so hidebound by independence dogma that they have their own ineccicient isolated power system - multi-millions suffered unnecessarily during the big storm last year when the system went down for a week or so. Any other state would have been able to take advantage of the national grid and power up quickly.
