The Steveville project, managed by RHC subsidiary Imperial Helium Ltd, marks a significant achievement in commercial production. Since its launch in 2023, the cutting-edge Steveville Purification Facility has been operational, maintaining strict environmental standards while producing 99.999% pure helium.
Additionally, RHC's development roadmap promises steady progress and expansion at its other projects like Climax, Val Marie, Ogema, and 40 Mile. By introducing a total of 39 wells by 2030, RHC aims to solidify its foothold in North America's helium landscape while continually enhancing reserves and exploring new geographical frontiers.
RHC recently made substantial progress at its Forty Mile Helium project in southeastern Alberta, initiating licensing and permitting processes for the Forty Mile #1 exploratory helium well, situated within the 7,000-acre project area.
Acquired under a seismic review option, the project hosts a historical well that has yielded promising results comparable to top Cambrian helium discoveries in the region.
Targeting the Devonian and Cambrian horizons, the Forty Mile #1 well will penetrate into the Precambrian crystalline basement. Once licensing is complete and a drill rig contract secured, spud data from the well will be made available.
RHC's Chief Operating Officer, Shayne Neigum, expressed enthusiasm for this high-impact exploration endeavor, citing its proximity to successful wells in Steveville and the company's first purification plant.
With the Forty Mile project showing promising signs, Neigum outlined plans for comprehensive development if successful, leveraging multiple defined drill targets.
