RE:Investopedia: Types of Market Manipulators· Stock bashers - Bashers make up false and/or misleading information about the target company in an attempt to get shares for a cheaper price. This activity, in most cases, is conducted by posting libelous posts on multiple public forums."
Logically on SH this is impossible. $40 million dollars worth of stock in 4 days. And somehow alias's with double digits of ignores taking up 50% of the posts are moving anything?
Anyone ever work at a hedge fund? Anyone talk to anyone who worked at a hedge fund? They don't all make money but they have to do some very abrupt things. They look for volume and Beta. Volatility to exit. The day it ran to $2.50... with no news however... was an oppty to unwind positions. Its why you see a news story come out and a gap up and fade. The old sell the news. They look for times to unwind large positions. Now mutual funds etc etc all the same. How do you unwind positions? This is their dilema. And it sure isn't coming to try and influence people here because they ...the fund managers.... would not be where they are if they thought that trying to go BOOO! on a message board would change their world.
So this is all very nice on "investorpedia" but it does not make it law.
