Those guys only care about political optics. They'd cut oxygen to their mothers if they thought the base would applaud their "fiscal restraint". Logic has absolutely nothing to do with their policies.

Politicians are focused on cutting drug prices because pharma is price gouging. Reliq clients charge regulated reimbursement prices.
