As you say , Mr Skeptical, “ Trying to blame your downward trajectory on anything other than incompetence and lack of results is silly and ridiculous”. Because arrogance does not allow listening.  That is Aurelio's defect, arrogance, he tries to cover up his incompetence.  I once tried to advise him as a friend on marketing and his rude response was that his team of professionals knew exactly what to do.  Friend Aurelio, as the team did not know much ... the last time we spoke, he assured me that a US Senator, his Personal friend, he was going to resolve the differences that they had with a supplier.  What an imagination ... or the senator was not very efficient either.
