Confused by the price action

Perhaps just not enough eyes are on this yet.  Or, even though the hole is incredibly impressive, it doesn't add much in terms of more tonnage to the property as it is in essence an infill drill hole.  It improves the economics considerably of this high grade core, but I'm assuming that the market will really take to good, not necessarily spectacular, grades of the inprogress and further out drill holes (i.e., 1328, 1329, 1221, 1215, 1218) that would add tonnage to the deposit.  Thoughts?

Your right holes 1328, 1329, 1221, 1215, 1218 are very import for the footprint of this find but this hole is a very important hole for 2 reasons. First it is proving  that there is more high grade ore at least half the distance to the first hole they drilled which was the lowest grade hole so far that has minable gold/copper. So this proves the honey hole was not a one hole wonder ...more

There are now five holes having mineralized intersections 100 to 291 metres in length and 1.23% to 10.16% CuEq in grades. Most importantly, these five holes loosely form an area 250 metre wide x 500 metres long and let's say for argument's sake an average thickness of 175 metres.  That to me sure looks like world class size and world class grades all beginning to be wrapped up in one. ...more

Thanks.  I agree with your two points.  It adds higher grade and more depth (or higher grade at depth) to the deposit that is being modeled.  My expectations were that this hole should have really moved the needle on RMC and I was looking for an opening near or above $4/share.  Since that clearly didn't happen, I'm just trying to think through what the market and ...more

I know the market will really jump in if they can find a porphyry. The really large mines and I think this includes the origional Bor mine are almost all Porphyry deposits (see below). Reservoir is drilling 2 really deep holes trying to find one. Approximately 50-60 percent of the world’s copper, and 95 percent of molybdenum comes from porphyry deposits. In the past, porphyry deposits were ...more

Just proof of how bad the Canadian stock markets are right now. unbelievable. I am a buyer today with 9 more holes coming out.

Rob926, They have intersected porphyey mineralisation, but at significant depth, around 1,400m deep.  the grades are low, 0.25-0.35% Cu plus a little gold.  This is expected as it is what is found and mined at the Bor pit, which incidently also had a very very high grade Cu-Au mineralisation above.  RMC talk about this in their presentation.  the interval of 395m @ 0.35% Cu in ...more

TS, Great info. Thanks for getting the correct info out. I thought they were drilling the deep holes especialy the one northwest (which is beyond the 2 shallower holes that were not economical) to find the Porphyry. I wonder why the are drilling the deep 1218 hole?

I sold 31% of my holdings at 5X times what I paid.  Holding period was greater than a year so the capital gains rate applies.  The 69% I continue to hold are a free ride.  It is still a sizeable position in my portfolio.  The freed up money will be used to open positions in other companies sitting on huge opportunities that have been beat down in the ceaseless grind in Canadian ...more
