I MADE ITthru another year and yes it HURT.. Tim i like whatya got to say. sending a letter and standing up. HERE IS SOMETHING THAT WILL PI$$ YA OFF-----did you know that you cannot buy SILVER in Canada?????? yup been on this trail for about 6 months now and am very angry. we don thave nothing to back an outhouse. so here what i have found out. I called the Royal Canadian Mint in OTTAWA . thats a place where you make money for doning nothing. anyway so i ask for a Maple leaf round OR a 1 oz silver bar. NOPE. they dont sell at spot price. they wanted at that time and this is in November - 39.50. can you get over that ? i said what do you do are you the janitor he said no he works there and the Mint is a place to buy sovinuers .. they dont sell the silver at the market point. i asked where do igo and after a bunch of blood pressure pills he said in the States. WHAT THE HE-- ARE THEY DOING THERE? well they stamp and send them back at a profit of course/ where does this take place? at Northwest Territorial Mint in WASHINGTON STATE..... YOU CAN PHONE THEM AND ASK FOR aL HE IS THE BULLION MANAGER. I HAVE TALKED TO HIM ABOUT A TOTAL OF 2 HOURS. CANT DO IT ALL IN ONE CALL. SO thats the way it is kids. he said that te mint here sends them over and they stamp them. also they get a deal on them and the deal is that they sell to us when we put an order in. i have yet to see the dealers here disclose their places. so you get it alot cheaper this way . however you have to figure in US-CAN. dolars exchange and postage. they guys i deal with here charge about 4 dollars over all the add ons. thats a rip. but if you want to save money the the wait time is 12-14 weeks. thats not good either. --- so i go back to the Mint and ask why - it all falls under NAFTA. and the NAU agreements. now if this doesnt shake you up the same goes for GOLD. you cannot buy it here. Yes you can go to your bank but you have to buy as in the states an amout fo at least 50 oz. so who has the money to do that . some people can only buy 1-2-3 oz at a time. so they got you right by the gu-honies. this is MY country and i was born here and i cant get what i want. and yes they gov wants to know who buys what and it will come down to metals and stones. .... i also went to get a new SIN card as mine was old and broke. just becaus ei said you already know my mothers maiden name - you should see the sh-t i haveto go thru now. so i said ok i will tell you and then they said i have to get noterized. i said if i was an immigrant i wouldnt go thru this and they agreed. they said i was canadian and confirmed it but i still have to get noterized. my MP who knows me phoned and sent a letter and that was not good enough. so now i wait and was told not to cash anything until i was cleared. my bank went to bat for me .. all because i said it is on your computer and they agreed and the people know me as we deal there all the time . i ran a bussiness for25 years and hired out of there. then they do this. and yes if i was an immagrant i would not be subject to this and this i was told while there. so i have had alot of fun since November. makes you wonder who is who here in this country and i dont who gets what but treat us ALL fair. stay tuned i will let ya all know what happens. as for silver Google it and call sorry i dont have the number handy - i will get it later and post.
