Provided that the information is not material, it is okay for insiders to post on a bullboard. You've made the assumption that this person is an insider and that the information is accurate. This might not be correct.

If the information is considered material, then the form that information release is put out is prescribed by the BCSC and enforced by IIROC. Releases to a bullboard are not considered an acceptible form for a news release. In any event it would also have to be posted on SEDAR. NOTE: All information of a financial nature are deemed to be material.

The conclusion is that either ROVER is run by amatures and idiots, or that the posting is fallaceous.
