RE: future?So two brothers with stars in their eyes, oil in their vanes and a lot of passion, acquire millions of acres in a remote untried and ,other than seismic work , untested area of Australia, did not strike oil on this first try.
It was too expensive, too long and too amateurish.
I guess we have never seen a CEO walk the plank.
Did not Scully fire Jobs
Did not the HP board fire the former and the previous CEO.
Think ,not so hard, it happens very day.
Frankly I am heartened by the fact that there is a very strong, successful, and knowledgeable board, who have tremendous connections.
You don't draw up a shreholder rights plan, unless there is some value , or perceived value
clearly the news is not what everyone had hoped for , but it is far from hopeless.
