Stephen Sharpe (crisis managment consultant) is also chair of Advantage Oil & Gas and Longview Oil. Sharpe has been with Advantage since 2009. Advantage was an $8 stock in 2009 and is now a $4 stock. Sharpe has been with logview since 2011. Longview was a $12 stock and is now a $5 stock. Herb Pinder has been a director with ARC Resources since Jan 2006. ARC was trading at  around $28 at that time, and 6 years later, is now trading at about the same share price. Thomas Budd is a trouble shooter with experience in providing advice re. mergers, acquistions, and financial advice for a number of Canadian Oil and Gas companies. I don't know how much influence Sharpe and Pinder had at Advantage, Longview, and ARC, but it seems to me that they do not seem to have stellar records when they sit on boards. The sliver of hope: Sharpe was a member of the special committee that was formed at Advantage on Feb 26, 2013, announced a disposal of non-core assets on March 28, 2013, and created a new corporate presentation on April 15, 2013. Advantage closed at $2.93 on February 26, $3.76 on March 28, and $3.99 today.
