What's it worth in 3 years?

I believe the gas contract goes for about another 3 years. They have been successful at repatriating the cash flow to Canada. I did a little math on the back of a napkin and when the contract is up for renewal there will be about a buck a share of cash in the till and we will still own the plant .. And a new contract will be negotiated.

Perhaps some of you with a calculator and pen can refine my numbers, but cash keeps building .. I am happy to wait 3 more years to get $2.00/share for the company's cash and plant .. And who knows, in thst time, maybe the offshore gets drilled.

Patient money most often wins.

Doc.

I agree Doc. I have no plans to sell any shares until the real value is realised.

Hi Doc and JRP If in 3 years we have cash equivalent to $1 a share that would be $22MM assuming no more buybacks.  That would average just over $7MM a year.   We should take into account our feed from Sipetrol and YPF is not consistant.  They seem to encounter production issues at the most unlikely times.  I don't believe RPT has anything in their contract with Sipetrol or ...more

I agree with groundpounder....due to unforseen events this hasn't been a good year for Arpetrol...let's be serious Docpat a year and a half ago we all thought this would be alot higher then today... I have no intentions to see either because I agree there is a ton of value..I am curious what is going on behind the scenes, as there seems to be alot of issues this year....and simple things ...more

Hello Danger,  Yes, entirely agree, disappointing. My only point was, cash keeps building up and in 3 years, we have about a dollar a share in cash in the bank. So, it's worth a buck plus .. Plus what is the question.  With a new pro business government in place, nat gas prices over $7.00/Mcf and majors all around us looking to expand their production and ours the only operating ...more

I agree DocPat....I am on the same page as you and realize that are plant alone in my opinion is worth minimum 20 million US...and that with the American dollar strengthening... If this company has to take another step back to go 2 steps or maybe 5 steps forward then its worth it! It would be nice to see Raymond James and the company buying back more of these cheap shares and capitalizing on the ...more

Good evening GP,  it it would seem they would have some $$ in the bank from the last few years of production as well yes? .. Add thst to future revenue and I think it's close .. Some want to sharpen their pencil on this and try and find a projection that has a few numbers behind it?  I think production through the plant is pretty constant .. Not sure why you would say it is ...more

Hi Doc If you look at the last Qtr report you can see that they had a period when production was 35mmcfd, rather than 80mmcfd.  This has happened in other quarters s well.  There may be some $ in the bank but we still owe around $0.8MM to a third party for that moment in 2012 when we blew up. There is no announcement that we will continue to buy back shares in the coming years.   ...more

Good morning GP,  Appreciate your thoughts .. I think the low production months have been dues to mechanical issues of the producers which is I think to be expected in this industry .. The point I was making is thst there isn't a shortage of gas in the region to be produced and so, baring mechanical issues, the plant should stay full for the foreseeable future.  You our make a good ...more
